Job Description:

Extensive experience with object oriented design principles, RDBMS, and No SQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Neo4J
* Has designed and architected the back end/api of large consumer facing applications with at least 1M monthly active users with millions of pages views per month
* Has hands on experience building REST API's which can auto-scale horizontally to thousands of reads per second
* Has hands on experience implementing consumer facing search applications with Lucene, SOLR, or ElasticSearch
* Has hands on experience building recommendation engines like flipkart, amazon
* Has worked, deployed, and managed applications in a virtualized cloud environment like Amazon AWS, rackspace, or Microsoft Azure
* Extensive hands on knowledge working on Java/J2EE Spring framework, persistence frameworks like Hibernate
* Practices hands on test driven development, ships code fast using continuous delivery
* Has to be very good at troubleshooting and coming up with ideas/features/technology that would drive the product to the next level
